Addison Wagner

Addy first became involved with Teens4Oceans at the start of her freshman year in 2010. That November she was lucky enough to be included in the group of students that went with T4O to the DEMA trade show in Las Vegas. It was definitely a learning experience and she left with a pretty well rounded understanding of what Teens4Oceans is all about. Since then, Addy was able to travel with a group of about twelve students to Akumal, Mexico where she experienced the thrill of scuba diving for the first time and earned her PADI Open Water Diver certification. In May of 2011, Addy went with a group of six students to the Blue Vision Summit in Washington, DC. She was privileged to be in the presence of a number of inspiring people and left the conference with a whole new understanding of the desperate state of our “blue planet”. After one year of being involved in Teens4Oceans, she refuses to eat seafood, saying “Juju Machondae” at least once a week, can’t wait for the day when she becomes a Sea Shepherd, and has fallen deeply in love with the oceans.
